The Schneider Family brewery has long been known for the production of Weisse Beers, now under the management of Georg Schneider VI (and George VII already involved in the business). Schneider's are now bringing brews back to life from a 1928 Urtyp receipe from the Schneider Landbrauerei to the UK. Schneider’s Landbrauerei has ingredients coming from a very short distance from the brewery itself utilising established relationships directly between the the brewery and local farmers. Braumeister Hans-Peter Drexler described the new brewery as “Hohe Heimatverbundenheit” loosely translated in English as a feeling of close ties to ones native area. He went on to say “We brew exclusively with ingredients from the nearby farmers. This means: short transportation, lower emissions and a focus on sustainability. We can rely on the high quality of our raw materials because of the regular contact with our farmers. The quality of our beer is already decided in their fields.”
