Keesmann Brau

Keesmann is not only Bamberg's cultural heritage, but also one of the most famous breweries in the cathedral city. Beers like the Herren-Pils are known and loved far beyond the borders of Franconia.  The brewery was founded in 1867 by town butcher Georg Keesman after passing his master brewing exam and expanding his butchers shop into a brewery and resteraunt.
