Flötzinger Brauerei

The Flötzinger Brauerei is the oldest brewery in Rosenheim and the only remaining private brewery.  The brewery was granted the rights to brew in 1543  by Duke Wilhelm IV of Bavaria. After several changes of ownership, the brewery was acquired in 1864 by Johann Krichbaumer, the grandfather of Franz Steegmüller II. Since the death of Franz Steegmüller II in 2012, the brewery has been run by the Steegmüller family.
